This is by no means to insult anyone, I just figured ya'll would find it funny.

All dressed up and no where to go!

hehe I thought it was pretty funny when I heard it!

    Yah....gets an ironic laugh.

    But
a.The athiests position was always based on a false premis
b.The existance of a thing is in no way related to any 'belief' in it.

There was a little old lady who was very spiritual who would step out on her porch every day, raise her arms to the sky and yell, "Praise the Lord."
One day, an atheist bought the house next door to her, and he became very irritated with the spiritual lady. So after a month or so of her yelling, "Praise the Lord" from her porch, he went outside on his porch and yelled back, "There is no Lord." Yet, the little old lady continued. One cold, wintry day, when the little old lady couldn't get to the store, she went out on her porch, raised her hands up to the sky and said, "Help me Lord, I have no more money, it's cold, and I have no more food." The next morning, she went outside, and there were three bags of food on the porch, enough to last her a week. "Praise the Lord," she yelled. The Atheist stepped out from the bushes and said, "There is no Lord hahaha, I bought those groceries!" The little old lady raised her arms to the sky and said, "Praise the Lord, you sent me groceries… and you made the Devil pay for them!"

    It could read:
What does an atheist's tombstone say?

    No longer an atheist.

That's a typical Christian. Always attributing humane acts of kindness to the invisible sky daddy.

That's crap. I highly doubt a dead person has theism.

As a matter of fact ALL dead people would be a-theist. ;)

u said: "That's a typical Christian. Always attributing humane acts of kindness to the invisible sky daddy"
I say intro: We human are pretty weak and full of doubts, someday a day can be very long. While living in fragments of eternity (or history) we are taking us for what we are not.
what i want to say you: I'd rather say typical human instead of typical Christian.

Why give a name or attributes to " ... "
(that is speechless and useless to speak about)

As reading this, could any of us deny he is actually existing?

ps: peace (and did I bothered you?)

I call bullshit. 'sneers, rolls eyes, & chuckles.'
You misinterpreted it. 'No longer an atheist.' is indisputably true, and I'll prove it to you when you're dead and no longer an atheist. Or when you're dead and you're just dead. Either way you won't be an atheist any more.

    BlackGuard

Declaring 'there is no god' [athiesm]
    Is illogical.
Right through from high logic to plain common sense.

One can only claim such a position if one WANTS to be an
athiest. It cant be supported by reason or evidence.

Thus wether one is dead or alive is irrelevant.
    The athiest position is untenable.
Its false before humans even analyse it.

    Occam

    PS.. SO is thiesm valid?

Realy...look at the world without ANY human words. just what happens.
    A whole new perspective.

to reiterate that point, saying what is not known cannot include one particular thing makes exactly the same non-sense as saying the what is not known has to include one particular thing.

if it's not known it's not known
if it is known it's not faith but knowledge

er now why was it that we had to have faith? i forget.
but i do remember something invesible that seemed to have mass snuggling up next to me and thinking hey, this is pretty cool.
and other odd things like that from time to time.

when i was little i let myself get convenced that i had to know the how and why of everything to accept that it could be
then i met things that no one knows the how and why of and got over it

and then got my teeth set on edge everytime someone claimse to know the beginning and ending of what obviously by deffinician no one can.

if people have a problem accepting that a thing can exist without the're pretending to know all about it, well the diversity of what i've been able to observe doesn't seem to have a problem with the're having a problem with it. it just goes on being how it is, not stopping anything as far as i can see.

this drives tyrannts and would be tyrannts to beating their heads against things
anything that drives a tyrannt to beating their head against something can't be all bad.

like the grass growing up between the cracks in the sidewalk.

sure i like neat, but it's also fun knowing that there's always something somewhere more to explore that i DON'T know all there is to know about.

    =^^=
