The best and in my personal experience, the most potent way is... Take all your seeds and stems, (save up quite a bit) grind them up in a coffee grinder, then put it in an espresso machine (if you have one) or a coffee pot, add the water, brew and your good to go for a nice, mellow high. If your using a coffee pot, add the water according to how much you've ground up, if it's not alot, only use 2-4 cups water, if you have a ton, brew away!
yea only do it for seeds and stems, cause its not worth the work (IMO) when u can just smoke the buds and get high.. but the seeds and stems can finally be put to use
it wouldn't get you high...you need to cook it in something with fat (thc is fat soluble)...like cream or butter, then put that in tea.
just dump it all, finely ground, into a saucepan, add milk, bring to boil, simmer for many minutes. dont add vinegar
THC is oil and alcohol soluable, meaning you won't get high unless the weed has been heated (or steeped) in oil or alcohol. Seeds won't work (plant them instead) stems barely contain any THC. NoVNoC, vinegar curdles milk.
actually the glands are half cbds (most of which are water soluable to some degree). what works the best I think is to mix it with a very oily tea (earl grey and peppermint come to mind) and boil it for about 10 minutes with honey and herb. Will give you a nice mellow body stone, no it wont get you high.
Probably doesnt get you high because you cooked off the thc. I'd suggest a weed latte or chai with milk or something.. the milk method would work or so it seems, but you could mix the milk with something eh? For a good tasting drink that gets you high.
I'm telling you guys, I've done it that way 100's of times and you don't get ripped off your ass or anything, but it DOES work and you DO get high. I've even made it for friends, if you add a little honey, it's super nummy. It's more of a body high, but a high none the less
boiling water is 100 C thc starts to cook off 220 C it doesn't get you high cause thc isn't water soluable but it does get you stoned, and unless your using a heavy cream, like whipping cream there isn't going to be enough fat in the latte to make a difference
Yeah I have to say with my own research that it is somewhat water soluble. My gf and I did a tea bath type infusion, then I went on to use canola oil for many hours, then I strained that and used it in butter, and that turned out a beautiful green. Then just for shits I dried that out in a warm oven, I wanted to see how much thc could possibly be left in there...? It tasted a little weird after the processing I put it through but I still got high! So I took my oil and processed it one more time and it got such an emerald green.
Here is a simple and effective way to make it. DON'T USE SEED AND STEMS, thats just cheep and ineffective. Crush up some buds and put them in the coffee maker just as you would coffee grounds Run the water through 2 or 3 times letting some of the water evaporate a little and cool befor each run. This is very good and gives you a great hight. Alot different from smoking it. You can also let the most part of the water evaporate and scrape the residue left over. It comes out like a thick oil. You can put a couple of drops of it on you're bowl as a cap. www.myspace.com/alwaysight
i would have thought that the vinnigar would have made it taste boggin no? is there something i'm missing? what's wrong with putting it in a tea strainer after you've ground it? that way you wouldn't get little bits of stock in your mug/cup
It might require some experimenting, but what if you put some finely ground herb in a tea bag, put that in some milk, and then slowly microwaved it? Once it was nice and hot, you could add some chocolate syrup. Then you would have the fat the THC needs to bond, and a delicious drink.
THC has a solubility in water of about 2.8 mg/L, that's very low. If you are feeling effects from tea seeped with buds you are probably feeling the other cannibinoids.
