fine, credentials or not, admit the film did have a strange tone. Whether or not it was cult related or not it was a bizzarre way to presnt Scientific data.
Ive always that quantum theory was interesting, it was nice to see a movie that had question after question, and that briefly summed it al up in 2 hrs.
??? there are facts in it. for example, that meditation study in washington is fact, and seratonin being a drug is fact.
why don't u provide some insightful logic or reasoning for your "deconstructionalist without a clue" type responses.....maybe people will take them seriously then!
Yeah. For once, we agree IronGoth. Indeed, this movie talks about a scientific theory: Quantum Theory, etc. But I did sense the overwhelming Ramtha presence. In fact, I was really ticked about the brief discussion of religion. They should have left the discussion out altogether if they couldn't speak to ALL religions, (instead of just slamming Christianity.)
I thought Ramtha tied in all the theories into an enlightened philosophy. And a pretty right on one at that. I'm not into the whole channeling schtick, but I know when someone speaks the truth (it bypasses logic and scientific facts, which often prove how little we know). She stole the show however because she was ecstatic about these "theories" as were all those who contributed to the film - to a degree. Anyway the theories discussed are some of the hottest ones making the rounds these days. The implications of them are so profound it will be a long time before "the proof is in the pudding". You can "expect miracles" in the near future as the fruit of these theories begin to manifest. Only if we maintain our awareness of the ethical implications of the work and focus on advancing our species and saving our planet, can we achieve our greatest potential.
I didn't say that. I understand what you're saying. A miracle is when something happens above all odds when there wasn't a chance of it happening. But then, if it happened, it means there was a chance in the beginning of it happening. So it's not a miracle? Now i have a headache. It's like the argument of the "unexpected". If you expect the unexpected, doesn't that make it the expected? Bugger this it's too early All i know is, i don't believe in miracles. When something happens, however rare, it still means it was possible, meaning no miracle. I believe anything i possible. Including that the AUSSIES can win the soccer world cup
I was going to say pseudo-scientific gibberish almost verbatim. You can't concentrate hard enough to affect the physical world, nor did they go into detail into anything scientific. It was fluff. Heres an answer to the water crystal nonsense. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masaru_Emoto James Randi offered Emoto a million dollars if he could preform his experiment with scientific observation and he hasn't responded.
I enjoyed "Mindwalk," a 1991 film based on the writings of physics Fritjof Capra, much more than "What the Bleep..." "Mindwalk" addresses similar issues, but in a more down-to-earth way. After watching Mindwalk with 3 relatives, we literally had a three hour conversation about the film. Be warned though, "Mindwalk" is essentially three people walking around and conversing for an hour and a half. It's slow paced and forces the viewer to pay pretty close attention to what's being said. But, in my opinion, what's being said is fascinating. It's also not yet out on DVD, to my knowledge.
good for all the poeple the liked it - but i really hated it ... it was really hard not to turn it off! 1. the story line just sucks - i mean it. 2. the visuals are lame and old - seen alot of other stuff done better and way cooler 3. the poeple in the movie talking are just so - eiiks - specially that Barbie woman that thinks she reached enlightenment but still needs her weekly fix of botox (btw - she funded the movie for most part, so no wonder she in it so much - god i don't like that woman ) 4. the things they talk about are cool till a certain level - till the level of the fact that they seem like talking in circles and just HEIL their own words above the reality itself - Something that just CAN'T be expressed in words - and that's what they say - but instead of iundertsanding it - they just keep shitting arround - not undertsaindg what they are saying themselves ... words words words missing out on meaning. 5. some stuff was nice - especially the water atom stuff - but i already read about that so, that didn't make me love the movie more. nope - a 4/10 for my scale movies that are way better in this kind of league are "THE SEA THAT THINK (she is a tree)" / "de zee die denkt(dat ze een boom is)" dutch movie - hope it's subtitled "WAKING LIFE" edit: and i forgot to warn you for the soundtrack!!! - cover your ears people!!!
