My birth sign is Aquarius, I love the water in all forms, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, but moving water's where it's at, the turbulance of a mighty river or a crashing wave. Nature is my home whenever possible. I frequently compete with it on many levels, yet I respect it. I've been a martial artist for the better part of 20 years, so as any of you who've studied martial arts would know, I'm not confrontative or violent, but I'm not passive either. I'm down with the Buddhist philosophy of peace and mindfulness, though I don't quite fit into the culture 'cause I can't sit still long enough to meditate (mine is a form of moving meditation). I work with my mind, that is my profession. I'm too honest to be a salesman. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I love my country, but at this point I'm disgusted with my government and all it stands for (greed, fear, oppression, and corruption). I dig the simple things, camping at music festivals, breaking bread with close friends, and yeah, I'm into mind expanding spiritual experiences, natural and induced. I'm not a leader, but I'm not a follower.

The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

Howdy high, friends. Just what did KC get banned for anyhoo? Glad to see Mark and Dave back. I miss Voided, but DID hear from him recently. Does anybody REALLY know what happened? I have my theories (conspiracy type) and I'm usually right.......

I'm the kind-a person who sees a problem and gets pissed, and KEEPS ON PLUGGIN', 'cause I figure if someone doesn't WANT us (me) around for some reason, then they probably NEED me around. I guess in my finer moments I'm pretty good at making people show their true colors.... And alot of folks just don't want to be that honest about themselves. Anyhoo, I ain't gonna give up on the forums even if Hell freezez over, 'cause if ya can speak to even one soul and they HEAR what ya have to say, then it's a GOOD thing. And I ain't banned yet.

I figure that the HOMELAND SECURITY guys are watching this forum pretty heavy. I sometimes get the feeling that my mail and phone are being checked out too. But, I have a cure for some of that. I TALK to them. On the phone, and here too: HEY there all you Homeland Security people! Just go ahead and read and listen, if that's what turns your crank, 'cause if I know you are listening, and I say things just for your entertainment, then you really can't take anything I say as being etched in stone, can you? earthmother - so glad to hear that someone else besides myself feels that Big Brother is watching our every move. I was starting to think paranoia was setting in - lol. It seems as though we have lost many civil liberties - the government can do what they want, whenever they want - and all they have to do is claim that it is in the name of our country's security. Wow so this is starting again. Hello everyone. I have always found the words here interesting. When Mello Yellow started his first epic thread he invited me to join...I waited a while. Family is a funny word to use here in cyberspace. Sounds a bit cultish like lost souls clinging to a flickering candle. And since Mellow and I are actually family...eachother children home chickens goats dogs cats fish birds rodents as well as friends family sports hobbies jobs... and this seems to be starting after a much needed break. I was wondering what you all are doing here exactly, if I may ask? What is this free speech you're espousing along with my spouse? I'm with you earth mother, it's important to not sit quietly and let them try to take away your way of life and your voice, plus honesty is very hard for most people. I strive for honesty. My daughter says she is brave and strong and smart and honest and beautiful, but honest is the hardest. I've read a lot of things in my life that seemed like self ego stroking crap...and that isn't bad if it is something that someone is growing towards-you have to imagine and visualize...but if one believes it because it is said --and heck that sounded so wonderful --than one stops growing and believes their own PR (maybe even get groupies- that's what happened to poor Jesus in my humble opinion).... and that's sad.
I am suspect of the anonymity of cyber communication and how easy it is to be a liar, to confuse fantasy with reality, to plagiarize someone else's life and voice, to stop fighting to really live in this world... and I think homeland security isn't the most threatening monster in the cyber community.

I only recently gained an interest in the chakras and auras. I believe that some chakras are more prominent in our bodies than others (unless they are in perfect balance) and this is how we get our auras. I think that my aura is yellow, or the third chakra. I am taking yoga right now which i believe is really helping me to get my chakras in balance. Alex Grey (who did the painting in my profile) uses the chakras in a lot of his work.
