    • They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it)
    • They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when others don't share that.
    • Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are."
    • They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
    • They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
    • They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don't require creative thought.
    • They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system).
    • They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
    • They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
    • They are not shy in letting you know what they need.

I think my daughter may be one although having been a nanny i see a lot of children with such traits. I defo think my child has some kind of psychic gifts because if i think something she will mention that exact thing at the time im thinking it. This happens too often to be coincidence. We have people in the family (my grandmother,me and my daughter) who seem to have some kind of ESP gift. I read about Indigo children a couple of years back. Personally, i believe all children have a psychic gift that they would go onto develope if this world of ours didn't see it as odd or freakish. I often chat with my child and ask her if she can remember her past lives or if she can remember being in mummies tummy. We have some very interesting chats! lolol

    Hello ya'll,
Im an indigo and i have all thoes traits.
Being and indigo is not just about haveing psycic powers and haveing all thoes traits. The us indigos are here to to find the liers in the world so to speak. Another trait of the indigos is always knowing when someone is lyeing and can tell the bad people from the good. We are here to fix the world. There are three groups of the "special children" or some call them scouts. The indigo, crystal, and rainbow. The indigos are here to destoy because they know who what is right and what is wrong. the crystal's are here to rebuild after the indigos and the rainbows are the most special. I really dont know what exactly they r here for but all i know is they are the most special and need to be protected by the indigos and crystals.

It dosnt matter if your one of us or not. All that matters is that you do your best in life and be a good person. Being a indigo, crystal, or a rainbow dosnt make you a better person. you be who you are and thats all that matters.

Wow, you guys have some insanely trippy pics in your sig. I read up on this a couple of years ago, if those traits describe you, look into it, and if they don't, you will most likely criticize it all.

  12. sounds a lot like a skewed perception of a mildly autistic child.......

    Hey everyone! First post!

Just wanted to say that I'm an indigo child, 16, live here in Southern California. That list of traits of indigo children are accurate, just not "in concrete" you know? A person can have all those traits and not be an indigo, and a person can have none of those traits and be indigo.

Indigo children are people sent here by Heaven to change things. Such examples are Malcom X, JF Kennedy, Aristotle, Churchhill, etc. Basically, an indigo child is a person who feels an accute calling - a drive inside of them to change things for the better. We see injustice and instead of thinking "Well, that's just how the system goes" or "Someone else will fix it," we think "I need to do something about this right now." It's impossible for us to ignore this drive, and most importantly, we don't WANT to ignore it. We want to change the world to be a peaceful, just place. Also, indigos are philosophers - we constantly think about God an spirituality and wonder about what the true answer is. Some of us have already found the truth, others are just starting their journey. I'm in the progress of finding the truth about myself - I already know of God and his angels.

In school, we're the kids who don't have lots of friends and often feel seperated from people, as though we don't belong anywhere. Many of us are drifters until we find our own group of fellow indigos or even crystal children (the next vibration higher.) Indigo children have been around since the dawn of time, the only difference is that now instead one being born our of a few thousand, there are hundreds being born every day. To many of the spiritually aware people, this signifies that great change is about to come during our lifetimes - and since indigos are such honest, integral people, many believe that change will usher in an era of peace.

Any questions, feel free to ask me or send me a note. If you flame this response, know that you will be ignored.

Sounds like utter bullshit to me. That description is just a description of a logical person with (as someone said before) some character. Who the hell likes to blindly follow authority? Who doesn't suggest change in systems that aren't productive? This is just another useless label; I'm not sure of its purpose of existance yet, but probably to make money. Don't be surprised when doctors start doing "indigo tests" for a 'small' fee.
