Every time I take a break it's like 1 week, and I get stoned as fuck everytime. I can't gain weight (I eat McDonalds for dinner almost 5 days a week) and I barely exercise (well, I used to skateboard and BMX but I haven't done much lately, but I'm getting back into it). Anyone else like this?
i am, i have a fast metabolism i eat a shit load (esp. when i'm high, heh) and i just never gain weight i guess i never really noticed before that when i take a short little break i get fucked up once it ends so, metabolism does effect the thc in your blood? i never really looked into it i remember one time someone told me if you have a high/fast metabolism it's good for drug tests, because it takes less then at ~month to get the thc out of your system fact or fiction?
I'm like that too, but I dont get that high anymore, just like a strong body feeling but no longer and fun heady feelings. I been smoking for a long time and I recently just started up again after a huge break, and I still didnt get too high. Well besides the Afghan hash I bought the other day, but thats a different story.
yah im like that, i eat way more than everyone else and im way smaller than all of them. it will catch up later though probably, especially with all the junk i eat.
It's not just the volume of what you eat, or not gaining weight, there are other health risks. You keep eating mcdonald's everyday you're going to have really shitty health when you get older. i read somewhere on this forum that metabolism does affect how long you have thc in your blood system. if thats true, and concidering my metabolism is extremly high, i doubt that bud would stay in my system for that long at all.
Well, obviously if your digestive system is processing your intake faster, then the thc will get processed faster.
I'm with you guys. Very fast metabolism. I can't really put on weight unless I work out. Which is good, I guess, but I can't be motivated to work out more than a couple times a week. I smoke on the weekends, and get fucked every damn time. Don't need much, either. I love having low tolerance.. some think tolerance is a measure of weed-smarts or some shit, but I know better.
Cannabis actually increases metabolic rates. Some people have a faster metabolism than others, and yes, this would decrease the time THC stays in the body. There is no exact time length of course.
Ive lost a good amount of weight since i started smoking nugs. But its mainly because i lost that sweet tooth i once had when i was younger and enjoy eating healthier foods now that i cant stand the taste of things as simple as soda.
Yeah im like this too, and proud of it for multiple reasons. It allows me to have a very low tolerance, so a couple of hits gets me pretty high. I also never gain weight (which can be good and bad). Also, its been about 2 weeks since i last toked, so when i do (tommorow hopefully) I should get thoroughly high. Plus, with this low tolerance i save much money. Thanks body!!
thank you for saying what i was going to say. haha, i can't get "phat" and i eat mcdonald's 5 times a week! haha. a young man often has a very inefficient metabolism (i.e. doesn't convert what he eats into fat--it is burned as energy instead), but this is no excuse to eat SHIT. it WILL catch up with you... trust me... (and it won't be pretty AT ALL)...
im hella skinny when i eat junk fat foods everyday all day and then eat fast food for dinner...and sit on my ass on the computer all day and do nothing....the only excorsise i get is when i go to each class with a 50 pound back pack heh...i weigh like 115 and im 5'8 and do that all day? fat people hate me...
yeah man completely, im always eatin tons of sweets that i rob from my store and dont do much than work to an from school everyday, and im skinny as fuck, infact i think i need to gain abit more weight to be average. life is sweeeeeet
first, metabolism isnt one universal thing, metabolism refers overall to thousands of different processes occuring in the body, which are in different levels in all of us. you cant generalise fast metabolisms really, because there are so many elements to the metabolism that while an end result may appear similar, it can be caused by completely different genetically coded and enviornmentally stimulated metabolic pathways second, can you share with us what goes through your head when you eat maccas for dinner 5 days a week? lol i mean cmon theres so many other fast food places so much better then again mcdonalds is much better in america than australia. taste, ie
I am too thin and I metabolize fat probably too fast. Although I dont'eat much either. It didn't get wosre smoking though.
