Streched out in the tall grass, I make
    shapes out of the clouds.
I can hear the wind whistle as if to let me
know it likes my presence here.
It sways a nearby willow tree in the most
delecate way, so that I can't look away
from the innocence, the freedom of it...
    the deepness of understanding.
The essence of nature perfumes the air,
keeping me in a calm, serene state.
The birds sing the most beautiful song I've
ever heard, the song to my heart.
I stand up to dance, raise my hands to the
sky... for the beauty of the silence.

    GirlInTheGreenGrass, I wrote a poem to compliment your poem;

    Summer enlightened me
    My hometown blew me away
    Every leaf is amazing
    and blades of grass Wow
There's never been peace like Right Now
The fire in the wind is blazing
If I could stay I'd stay
And still wish you could see

Hope you enjoy it, yours made me reminisce of beautiful days.
