i do abstract art, these are some of ine, i havnt painted in forever it seems, i need to get to that.
i think cubism would be a good course for you. it's the style picasso invented. i think you should do some more realistic studies before you try to break it so much though. i think you could get a better feel for form, even in abstract art. but good work. keep going at it. the more you do, the better you get.
I dont think its abstract or cubistic. Its very expressive. Its like someone is fighting with a paper to put her/his own emotions on it. There are 2 levels in this. 1/ with control - If you do this with control for example your work will present emotions like feeling fucked up on a level that others understand. If you know what you do, you can show people why you felt fucked up without representing the actual happening. 2/ without control - you just go with the flow and your paper becomes a direct extension of how you feel in general, the end result look more or less abstract, and can almost be seen as someone's aura. The person that made it feels satisfied, but in representing something to other people it make's a failure since others cant look at your aura. I like the guitar a lot and the 3th one - look like Modigliani a bit - but its very cool! (Amedeo Modigliani was an artist from Picasso's time). Try some control.....you have a great talent in showing out your emotions, use it!
I like them, but they look so sad to me. Hope you're not unhappy girl Unhappy girl left all alone playing solitaire playing warden to your soul...
i'm sorry, but my mind is in the gutter here all i'm getting out of this one is "vagina" and i don't know why
I like them. Very aggressive. I used to paint in a similar way. The only suggestion I have is that black tends to kill all the colors around it. Instead of black, mix a crimson red and a dark green, which will give you a black that is much better than from the tube.
i agree with the color suggestion. black doesn't work well with colors. it's much better to get a dark hue of a mixture of colors in the painting that is close to a greyshade but still has some color. that way you pull color from other areas and accent the shadows.
thanks guys, hhahahaha its cool teh-horace. my mind is always in the gutter, but i assure u, it wasnt meant to be perverse. lol wow i posted this thread a long time ago. someone really wanted to see the past art
