Yep I use an apple computer. I have a sticker on my tool box, and I hate having to sit down infront of most PC's. I like the philosophy of Linux, but damned if I don;t have troubles with their machines. I bad mouth windows computers when shopping, I refuse to fix my friends windows computers even though I have the knowledge to do so. I hit people who send me word documents, and i say computers are for working, game cubes are for games. Yep, I've become an ass.
I know pretty much nothing about computers. I know how to turn them on. Well, usually. Therefore, a lot of what you said doesn't mean much to me. However, I have a friend who is a smug computer geek like you, (no offense intended) and prattles on about Linux a lot. The evils of windows. Yeah, I have no clue.
LOL awesome responce Lisa Aweersome. nenni, i don;t bad mouth peoples computers, just windows in general. and I know what I'm talking about because I used windows for about 9 years, and none of those years was trouble free. I'm closing on 7 months of using a computer that was completely new to me, and I've had no viruses, my browser hasn;t been hacked, and Haven;t had to re-install anything.
sounds like me i always have fights about which system is better. Macs rule! most of my friends use crappy windows and it always fucks up. they're too stubborn to admit that mac is better.
heh Only compatibility problems I've had is with my 40$ lexmark printer and my 20$ web cam. For the amount of time I've saved not reinstalling my operating system it's been worth it. What do you feel the mac platform is not compatible with?
