just had to capture this moment! my daughters gave me their two rats, buckaroo (featured ) and john big bootey (boo-tay!) and this one seems to be feeling safe and sound here with me! I let them run around my place at night, when they wake up from their long naps. But buckaroo musta felt sleepy again!
how sweet! i saw the sweetest hairless rat whom i wanted to take home but #1 he was property of a pet store and i dont like to support pet shops that sell animals and #2 i have a cat and two dogs (a RAT terrier being one) so i nixed the idea.....but id love to care one!

I adore rats. We kept them for many years and found them to be amazing pets. Sadly our last two little girls, Nyx and Gaia died at the beginning of this year. We have great memories of all the little darlings.

Sweet ratty! Rats are wonderful little guys!! Cannot have a dog or cat? Get a rat! They are certainly full of personality!
