Every time I take ativan (generally 2-2.5mg), I become relaxed and dreamy, but I also fall asleep rather quickly. On the plus side, I wake up feeling like a million bucks.

But it's not really fun, persay...

Anybody have any comments on ativan?

    Just got some today.
I thought I had a heart attack and the doctor said it was pent up rage and anxiety. My blood pressure three months ago was 90/70...today it was 180/145. They say it was just a horrible panick attack and that I need to go talk to a therapist but gave me some ativan before I can get in with the psychiatrist who also has a backgroung in cognitive therapy and not just handing out meds.
I took 1.5 mg's and will take .5 when needed before I get to the point where I feel panicky. But yeah if I didn't have a shit load of work and studying to do right now I could so easily be asleep right now. But no it's not like valium or xanax where you feel 'high' ...which is kinda unfortunate lol but good for me.
