Hi All I don't believe I have posted my own entry in this particular forum yet. I am a heavily pierced and lightly tattooed person. Name is Pamela. Nice to meet you. I have been vegan for 3 years, vegetarian for 5-6, and have loved animals all my life. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it until a few months ago, but I eventually want to get an AR tattoo. (Don't be confused, most people who refer to animal rights just mean they have the right not to be treated cruelly, abused, or murdered. We don't want a dog president or a parrot senator! Though it has to be said a goldfish could do better than our current president) Are there any ideas/pics that you all have seen that have to do with animal rights/anti-animal cruelty? I don't want any tribal thing or anything like that. I haven't seen any designs that i am absolutely in love with. I wouldn't copy it exactly anyway, since I don't ever want to get anymore tattoos that anyone else will have.
hi pamela. yeah, goldfish have a memory of two seconds (fact), so i definitely think they could do a better job than our current president. some funny pictures i've seen were animals eating people, but i dont really think that that is something you want to be with you til the grave. haha. possibly, you could get a portrait, or something of an animal you particularly like with a banner under it (or over it, whatever) that said "animal equality" or something. were you thinking of having color, or grey and black? also, how big? p.s., i love the idea.
im wanting the same sort of tatoo but i can get an idea for the life of me! ive seen a tatoo....on here i think...of a girl who had the rabbit symbol used for "no testing on animals".....that was cute. ive been thinking and thinking and thinking forever about what i could get to show my devotion for animals and their lib.........

An animal rights tattoo is a good idea! I talk to a vegan guy online and he has "Compassion" in big letters across his stomach.Pretty cool actually.I am not a stomach tattoo fan, but it looks good on some people...maybe you could get that tattooed somewhere!?
