Simpsons vs South Park?

Bring on South Park...

 

The Simpsons episode on right now (it's first commercial break) is the freakin funniest show ever. It has made me laugh out loud 7 times! Unfreakinbelievable. I have never laughed so much at southpark. It came out in the year 2000. Perfect. Holy shit.

 

how many commercial breaks do you get per episode of the simpsons? in the uk we only have 1

 

1? Are you kidding? We get 3 in a half hour show and maybe 6 in an hour. Ripped off and there are about 6/7 ads in one break

 

The Simps and me are on a life-long journey. South Park does nothing for me.

 

There's no competition...South Park.
South Park always has extremely hillarious episodes where as the Simpsons have shitty ones...never seen a bad South Park.

 

This one is hard. I'm loyal to the Simpsons, but South Park is great. I think I like them equally, for different reasons.

 

Whats wrong with you people South park is the best. Simpsons is lame and stupid because they have ran out of episode ideas

 

Family guy is best but south park beats simpsons by a long shot. both family guy and south park take serious world issues, ike AIDS, and make fun of them. that takes some balls and creativity. simpsons has never made me laugh and probably never will

 

Simpsons is better. The older episodes anyway, I dunno about the last 4, 5 however many seasons it's been. They did deal with issues, just in more subtle way than south park did.

South park is great, but the meaning they tried to push in some episodes often felt too forced. I like the episodes that are completely ridiculous, and are just stupid/funny rather than trying to have any significance with satirical political and social themes.
