Who found Hipforums before the site had it's phenomenal CRASH?

I pretty much freaked out when the whole site went down...I contemplated suicide...I had nothing to do at work...just kidding.
I think it crashed a year ago or so? I can't really remember.
But who remember the old Hipforums?
I missed it alot at first. And it took so long to get everything back together.
Too bad you have to donate money to view the old archives.

 

I was here before it crashed. Personally, I prefer the old look and feel, but it is a lot more stable now.

I so loved the old fora but I quite enjoy this one as well. But I miss some of the older people and hated less people then and posted less then as well.

 

OH my god! I remember that story! Gross! haha. You're quintuplet? I didn't know that.
I searched my name, and it only came up with one post, even though i had over 500 at the time.
I originally registered April 2003. Almost 3 years ago, wow. I was 17,haha. 20 now. It was weird reading the one post that came up for me.

I think it was the summer of 2002 when I first signed up.

It took a bit of getting used to with the new forum, but people seem to dig it and post more.

I remember Pressed_Rat closing in on 20,000 posts was a big running joke on the old forums. People razzed him quite a bit. Now in less than two years time several people have over 20,000 posts, one of which I know used to kid around quite a bit with matt concerning his forum usage.

I was a member before the crash. I don't post as much now as I used to.

 

I came here right after the crash. There have been a few upgrades since I've been here. (galleries) Some were better before the upgrade.

 

i wasnt around yet when the site crashed so i cant talk about the days of old on the forums

 

yeah i was here before and liked it a lot better back then. better people... better format. oh well.

I remember the days before people had to register. you could post as anyone, and any name, so there were alot of impersonators back then, most of them liked to post as Matt (pressed rat)

 

yep i posted as onyx back in the day when i was 15 or so. i think i was one of the first to post a nude (well, handbra) picture of myself on my gallery. hah, how illegal.

 

Yep, that handbra picture is still the background image on my desktop to this day

 

that's a bit creepy. ha
