    Oh come ye Spring
Bring with thee buds and bursts
    and flourishes of dandy
Bring air that's sweet as candy
    To freshen tired trees
    long bitten by the cold
    And when the earth inhales
    to birth its fruits
and all seems spent on green
    When noses are roses
    I'll wish my cotton wish
    "Oh leave me Spring
    Take with you your rains
    and morning chills.
My arms and neck want golden-red
    Oh leave me Spring."
