Does anyone know anything about endometriosis?? I have trhe worst cramps ever. I have to stay in bed, miss work, not do a damn thing. I t doesn't seem like i can get any relief. I do not have any medical insurance right now, so I can't just go to the Dr. I get Loratabs or other pain medication from wherever I can find it at the time. Sometimes I get a pint bottle of Captain Morgans & mix a few drinks, this seems to relax my back a llittle but I dont want to have to resort to this all the time..............

I just spoke to my aunt hippygurl81 and she has been a nurse almost her whole life and has also had endometriosis. She said you REALLY need to go to the doctors to get some medication for it.

There must be some way you can go to a doctor without medical insurance ? :H

Well I can go to the doctor without insurance but I will have to go to a free clinic or the regular dr & let them bill me for it. I have heard this is very serious... Thanks for the reply.

Endomitriosis, from what I know, or from what the doctors tell me around here is sometimes pretty difficult to detect and treat...but if you really think it might be an issue with you, don't hesitate to tell you doctor it's a concern of yours and that you'd like to take the measures to determine if it is or not. [that is, if you go to a free clinic]

You could PROBABLY go to a Planned Parenthood for this; I'm not sure. Since you're over 18, they will probably charge you for it, but you don't need insurance ...and I'm fairly certain even when you do have to pay it's still cheap as fuck.

In the meantime, I'd recommend laying off the alcohol, and try heat methods [heating pads, or even just hot towels] and apply to the areas that hurt... it really does wonders-- I have horribly excruciating pains during my period and this never fails....PM me if you like[because i have to get going]...I KNOW how you feel.

ok, its not that I am an alcoholic apples, it sometimes helps to relax my back. That is why I wrote in for help so I dont have to take drastic measures as alcohol everytime I start to hurt real bad.

Thanks for the advice, I do have heating pad that I use alot & I have also tried the heat patches & those seem to help some.

I know you weren't saying that, lol... I just think that alcohol might make it worse in the long run, like the cramps and such. I've done it before too, and it relieves the pain temporarily, and then i feel worse when it "wears off"---that's just me though.

hehe, I'm sorry if you took what I wrote, the wrong way :)
