I test drove a bmw 325i, sedan, 5 star safety rating, 4 door so perfect with the dogs...only 25k miles, v6 free matitence for a tear 3 year warranty...for a great price and black on black leahter. The use the same finace company that my current car loan is with so we agreed on a price and they said they would pay my loan off in full give me way over the blue book value-11k as a trade in!!!!!!!! where the private sale cost would be around that. My car is having some engine troubles and just is going to go soon even though it's only a 2002. Mostly, my mom is really worried about me driving on all my new meds and wants me to have the safest car out there and something that will never break down and we couldn't find a volvo that we liked pre-ford buy out. I test drove a 2006 jetta tdi with 8 airbags but it's still not as safe as the bmw's. I also test drove a benz...no idea what model but I felt like an old man. I like the bmw the best it had a sun.moon roof, tiptronic would be great for the dogs I know it's a yuppie car but I loved it!!!!!! It handled better then any car I've every driven and the eingine looked so clean for a used car and only 25k miles and my car payments would be the same payment wise and length wise because my mom would just do the down as a present..I got into Alliant's in sa PHd. in clinical psychology for fall 07 on the san diego campus ON AN ALMOST FULL RIDE because of my work experience... assuming I get at least a 3.0 this semester at csu..... and finish my MFT, oh I forgot...which will even count towards two years of the phd!!!!so she's in a very genrous mood Ii took a pic of the outside and engine and inside to think on it and I already got approved for the loan. Only problem I don't wanna look like a yuppie): but I love safe yet fast cars and it has less horsepowert hen my car now and would be A LOT better on gas!!!!! and burns cleaner Here's pic it's goreous...sigh should I plunge? I hate decisions but I've wanted a new car for along time and NEED a safer one now because of my constant state of sedation lol.
i found my car a long time ago. either hernia gauge or a trolly. preferably propelled by solar cells and batteries. there just arn't enough of them arround. so my wifie says she's buying, going to buy, one of here friend's old trucks. then we'll be able to get to places, like up in the boonies which is my real home, where the trains and bussess don't go. well i'll believe what i see when i see it. there's a lot of hassles about owning a vehicule that i've been happy to live without for the past nearly 10 years. not to mention the pain in the consciounse of using combustion to propell the blessed thing and all the really horrible things going on for where the gas comes from to begin with. so i've got really mixed feelings about all that. sa la vie, (i.e. "such is life") or however it's spelled... =^^= .../\...
did the owner of it ever have any problems with it? A lot of repairs? They're really expensive to fix so I'm tripping on that too. It's just A LOT of money for me. The car I have now I make payments on but my mom paid them for me up until a year ago because of my school fuck ups...I broke my end of the deal. I just don't know erghhhh I hate deicisions and she say's it's up to me...argh
I can't stop looking at the pics of it on my phone i'm getting it on tuesday...i am calling right now and am going to see if there's some way they can hold it until then because my mom needs to go with me and the sales guy doesn't work until tuesday and he was so nice i don't want somone to rob his comission.
i called and talked to the finance guy i was ready to put 500 down as a deposit so they;d hold it but called my grandpa just now and he said 325i's don't have tiptronic even in the sports package is this true? and the care actually has 45k miles...it ran smooth and has a warranty I just don't know....argh
i dunno about the past history of the car we used. i know he told us to baby it and not push it too hard. and i dunno about the tiptronic...ask the sales guy

First of all why are you driving 125 mph if you are in "a constant state of sedation". Also the safety issue is just a copout. There are plenty of cars that are completely safe that arent status symbol cars, so please dont bullshit us. If you want a BMW, thats fine, but at least be honest with yourself. Also maybe you shouldnt drive if you think you are always so fucked up that you need a car with 8 airbags to save you when you plow into a brick wall or another car. Have you even thought about being a danger to anyone else in the world, or just yourself? 90% of your posts are about some material product you have or want to have.
actually I drove it at 125 with the sales man in the passenger seatbecause I was test driving it , hence before I buy a 25k dollar car I want to know how it performs. I've always owned volvos up until now, even as a kid-no status there purely for safety. But now that ford bought them they are not as safe anymore. so like i said i want a nice safe care that will last a long time and be fun to drive when i get better. And I like nice things but I have a very nice car right now and could give a shit who envies me for what I drive...in fact I think it would be sad if somone became green over a car. Like I said the first car i test frove was a jetta tdi. if I really was concerned about status I woulda went home with the oversized gauwdy gas eating mercedes i test drove yesterday.
What makes you think the volvos made after the ford acquisition arent as safe? There will always be people that are jealous of your car or things you have, even if it is a complete piece of shit. Because no matter what you have, there is always someone who has less and is the type to get jealous. Thats not what I was focused on though. I was talking more about the fact that it really seems (at least how you come across here) that you seek fulfillment from buying shit. I was just pointing that out, Ive been there, and when I realized that I really had to examine my life.
no I do like to shop lol but am just as happy whne I can't as long as all my NEEDs are met. I've been cut off before and was still fine and didn't need the luxiries to be me. Volvo's have a 3-4 star rating where pre-ford they had a 5. Also they are having a lot of electrical problems no and just are manufactured a little diffferent, different engine techniques ect....and I can't afford tons of car repairs.
