This was very interesting. I've been hauling this display of hooks around forever and never paid much attention to the hooks really. Going by the post above, they have either changed sizes in the last half century or they're not crochet hooks. They are sized 1 to 14 with 1 being the biggest and 14 being itsy, bitsy tiny. I also have a modern hook (same manufacturer - Boye) that is sized H, is bigger than any of the others and is of a different steel. I'm sending you the H and a set of 2 - 14 with some extras. I didn't have a 1 or a 10 to include in the set. I don't think these are what you wanted if you were wanting to make bigger stitches, except for the H maybe. You should see the 14! I think using this hook would drive you mad! Hahahahha. I'm mailing them out to you today. I'm sure you could use the H anyway.
Good ole internet! Here's what I found: (The ones I'm sending you are the steel hooks 2 -14 and one aluminum H.) 551-CRO Click for Detail Crochet Master - Aluminum crochet hooks in sizes D through K and steel hooks in sizes 00 through 15. In a vinyl, zippered case. 4 1/2 " x 7 ? Closed.
wow all my ones are crappy plastic, i'll be like a crochet concseir with those i used to have a really thin steel one actually for my dreadsbut istopepd crocheting them. ...hmm maybe it will be fun to try crocheting thread hehehe never know it might look cool im making your bag now its like ocean blue colours
i might be wrong with the number, i was guessing what a H or somthing would be in europe. in europe they use numbers and in the US they use letters with the small steel hooks being numbers 00 (the biggest) and then going down.
