what would you much rather have as a pet?

I have a snake and he is great!!!! Wouldn't trade him for anything!

 

I voted for dogs but for me it is a tie between dogs and parrots. They are both great members of my family and I could not imagine living without them.

 

Cats. Love dogs, but they're so much work! Cats are pretty easy to take care of, and they're really cute and sweet animals.

 

Cats are on the top b/c u can cuddle them. My fish would be next, they have their own little personalities as well.

 

I have four cats at home. Big one, with three babies I live in a flat and it is so dificult to look after them all. But I love them, i really do. I cant imagine my lofe without my pets!

i love dogs and cats. But i would love to have any animal for a pet.

 

i like cats best! but my cat really makes everything fussy and trouble!

 

I thought for sure dogs would be winning this poll! Looks like cats are in the lead by just a few hairs.

I like cats, but definitely prefer dogs above all others. My dog is doing me the world of good, as it gets me out in the fresh air regularly.
I think keeping birds as pets is cruel and unnecessary, also too many fish in too small tanks. I'm also quite fond of guinea pigs, as I used to have one as a kid.

 

I've got two male guinea pigs (Bailey & Nibbler) and a bearded dragon (Brimestone), can't tell what sex Brimestone is... it's really hard to tell, I think he's male

I had a python when I was younger, so I would vote for a snake.

But dogs are wonderful creatures too.

Its pretty equal between cat and dog but if I had to choose it would be cat.

I voted for cats because they are easier to take care of than dogs and easier to cuddle if they will let you...but the one thing I dont like about them is that they generally are not loyal creatures...whereas dogs are more so (generally). I guess a small dog that would sit on my lap would be close to the perfect pet for me...

I used to really want a ferret, they seemed like a really rebellious sort of pet to have when I was a teenager.
