Hey everyone! Hope 2006 is seeing you healthy and barefoot. I did some barefootin over the weekend. At one place, a Chipotle taco/burrito place, the manager about freaked when he saw me without shoes. He's like you can't be in here without shoes: "This is a restaurant!" I took my order to go since I already had paid for my food before he noticed I wasn't wearin shoes. I have been to this Chipotle before (and others too) without shoes and had no problem. It always seems to depend on what manager is on duty. Later on Saturday evening, I was walking down the street and saw a barefoot girl ahead of me, coming in my direction. She was carrying shoes, but as we passed, she said "Hey, you're my barefoot twin!" That was pretty cool. I told her barefoot is the only way to be and she gave me the thumbs up. She was then talking to her friends, and I could tell she was happy to have seen another barefooter. I know the feeling, since I like it when I see other barefooters, too. Back in December, I saw another barefooter at the grocery store. This was really cool, since I hadn't seen a barefooter at the store in at least 8 months. She told me she loves going barefoot too, and from the looks of her soles and tops of her feet, she does for sure! They were nearly as dirty as mine (if not more so!) I live in Cali so there should be more barefooters here, but I haven't seen many for awhile. Drop me a line if you live in Cali and wanna get together some time for some barefootin: barefootboy5@lycos.com Keep em bare!
