Was wondering what everyone uses for pencil crayons and markers...I've heard about these really good ones Prysm and Prisma....but have yet to try them as the 60 color pack of Prysm pencil crayons I want are $25....have to wait a bit to get them...

Whats everyone's opinion on the best?

Just take any material thats around you, and feel free to work with it. Feeling free to make failure's with cheap materials is better than to buy a big box with pencils that give the feeling that you Have to create something Good from it. Later on, if you feel confortable there's enough time to buy expensive and good materials, but take it slow with spending money. Its better to waste 50 sheets of paper on getting to know yourself a bit than to spend a lot on 1 sheet to realize you cant draw what you have in mind.
    good luck,

well said skhip. and i think that mediums are all based on the person anyway. it depends on what you're doing and your style. personally i have a strong distate for colored pencils, though when i have to for class I use Prisma.

thanks guys!! Has anyone used this 60 color set of pencil crayons?? I like pencil crayons better as they blend together better for me...I'm just tired of crappy ones with litte shades....I do like that markers are brighter..but I hate you cant really blend them...
