By tokin up as much as poss & getting friends 2!

serious - politians will do fuck all - dope will be legal the more do it - when it bcomes a normal thing people c everyday - the law will not change but people gradually ignore it - when most people see dope around them & reaching for ur morning spliff is a normal as taking your coffee & cigerettes the law falls in2 disrepute with more people on bord

thatz what happened in lots places - normal people just dont keep it a secret - y should they - IT AINT WRONG! & people c / smell dope all the time out shoppin & stuff - it just becomes a normal part of life

Nah, NIDA will just turn it into some major addiction potential bullshit or summat. The way to legalize marijuana is to vote and be responsible with your usage; that means NO DRIVING!

    Unfortunately:
    - If you have a felony, possibly from a marijauan posession charge which could easily happen to any stoner, you can't vote.
    - Not all people that enjoy marijuana are applicable to vote.
    - Far more people view marijuana as something negative.

That's why I think the only way to legalize it is to promote awareness. No one really knows that it's not a bad thing. They all view it as some big bad drug still.

Well, the only way to get a felony is if you're dealing or have an ounce or more in your possession without a medicinal prescription...

All the people the do enjoy marijuana should vote.

But the rest is fairly true; but some people won't listen.

Really? I thought that some states made any posession a felony.

Sorry but people should not be encouraged to smoke dope!

If you want to do it, that's fine. I don't have a problem with anyone using it, or it being legalised. Unlike public smoking, it doesn't hurt anyone else and there are plenty of legal things that are just as damaging to one's health.

But what I object to is people propagating the notion that dope is a "good thing" that "everyone should do". Whether or not dope is a good thing is a personal decision. Dope is extremely unhealthy and it fucks up your body, and there are many people (like me) who value their health more than getting high.

Marijuana already is widely used, and users are not victimised, ostracised, or penalised (only the dealers). You can use it in your own home and you should be glad of that.

Yeah I agree. if everyone started doing it like in public, all in one day perhaps, the cops would either have to let it go or have a feeding frensy. I know a few cops who would just let it go. I also know a few who would go nuts and treat his policecar like a clown car and stuff as many pot smokers in as possible.

The reason it's not legal is becasue the goverment makes no money off of it, if there was someway for the goverment to control the distrubution of it(which there isn't) then it would be legal. I mean think about it, alcohol is just as bad if not worse but the goverment gets money out of it so of course it's legal. Unless they come up with a plan to stop all the independent drug dealers, Don't count on legal weed anytime soon.

Hopefully one day it'll happen, But don't count on it.

Vaporizers my friend is the key to healthier smoking. Mass devolopment of these and the mass spread of cannibus cooking could help to win the arguement over unhealthy smoking.

Of course I believe not everyone should be high at 1 time. But more that open minded people need to reach out to the closed minded people about the issues. Closed minded people who are uneducated in marijuana often descriminate against something they dont know shit about. I believe it is these people that need to be targeted for education of this great herb. No im not saying force them to smoke, im saying education is the target.

I think this boy is up to something!!! Vaporizers nowadays are expensive as is some good electric pipes. What they do is give more healthier smoke and at a faster velocity meaning faster healthier high. Which is always good, I also know that if marijuana was legalized in all of the world for anyone age above 18 or even 16 everyone would not be smoking and surely not simultaneously but I would say that crime would go down, other crimes would be viewed for the real seriousness of what they are not pot its nothing. I also say that if Cocaine wasn't so addictive and needed to be used so much to get high that if it had a longer high it would be safer too. But pot is better than cocaine as its cheaper and safer so why is the need for no legalization it doen't cause deaths, it cause's euphoric experiences that the brain was built to recieve we do have receptors in the back of the brain that are perfectly fitted for the thc and cannaboids that go to the brain thats the cause of high which means god intended us to get high cause it's safe. So there's your proof christians and bible thumpers. HAHA j/k we are all stoners we just need to spread the safe word to all we can call your state representatives and then we will be ever closer to legalization.

Excuse me, but please don't bring that tired and fictional reasoning into this sort of debate. Marijuana is not some incredibly unhealthy drug that will render your health shit and make you wish you have never done it.

I'm just tired of seeing people claim that it's so unhealthy when it's really not.

I know plenty of people involved in athletics at my school who smoke every now and then; some of them use it to enhance their workout performance.

    [/QUOTE]

Not in America; you are penalised for possessing paraphanelia that's clean if you aren't 18 or older, and regardless of your age if it has been used to smoke anything illicit. Many people are ostracised at school; I was at my junior high. They even made it against the dress code to wear hemp of any kind because it supposedly promotes marijuana; America pisses me off more and more.

But then when I talk about this stuff with other peers, they say I'm just some stupid pothead who doesn't know what he's talking about. That's why I also hate my generation, they only care about what effects them; that's where the whole fucking 9/11 event came from. People were an gun-hoe on killing terrorists after it happened, but hundreds of terrorist attacks had been going on every year before that. Sometimes, all of society can be so frustrating.

to sag aloo and jonneearthquake: those are some of the stupidest ideas I have ever seen. Not only would the cops arrest everyone who's publicly smoking, John Ashcroft would get himself off just looking at the number of people who get thrown in jail. i have smoked in public places before, walking down a hallway or sidewalk, and I am so regretting it now. Doing that helped in my downbringing(cant have witnesses man)

What needs to happen is someone who is very camera friendly, very fun to watch, and very not yuppie looking(lawyers and politicians wont work) come out, with all the facts, good and bad, and start rallies across the country. Get demonstrations so big to where it would make it impossible for anyone in this country to ignore the facts. Get gigantic sitins(in the hundreds of thousands) outside the white house, or somewhere in washington, with loud, non yuppie dressed speakers speaking to the public and the government. Dont have the sitin-ers leave because they are getting attacked. Have them stay, until every single one is either arrested or beaten, or until a change is made. Its radical, but this is what would need to happen.
Where is Abbie when we need him?

yuppies are too boring, and they make the crowds lose attention. I seen a gay marriage debate yesterday on some channel, with yuppie lawyers doing all the "debating"(wasnt really more than stating their opinions, noone interrupted the other)and people started to walk out with half an hour to go, and everyone in the crowd looked so dead and asleep. Fuck the boringness, we need action. People who will really get the crowd moving. Someone, that when speaking, would have the same effect on the crowd as Jim Morrison did when he was singing. Everyone just got so involved, and thats what needs to happen with marijuana.

Getting everyone you know high wont make it legal. Thats like saying getting every 14 year old you know drunk so that the age limit on alcohol will be taken away. Just as someone else said drugs are somthing that are not to be encouraged to be taken. I honestly think few people should do drugs compared to how many that do. One of the reasons marijuana is illegal in the first place I would think is because peoples main purpose on using it is to get fucked up. Thats not really respecting the drug is it. Why couldnt the government get any money out of it if it was legalized? You know they would tax the hell out of it just like cigs. I did hear once there is somthing which forbids that though, anyone know about that or is it just an urban myth? Sag aloo, honestly, ever post I read of yours make me get stupider not to be mean or anything. Are you high or just stupid? When people are promoting marijuana saying things like that do you really think its going to sway any conservative polticians view? Hell no. How are we suppose to try to stand up for somthing when we talk like we are all burnt out stoners. Are you going to write a letter to the govenor saying "yu shuld legalize da herb man it good for yu"?
