Hi im thinking of growing 2 diff strains of marijuana and i was wondering how far away do the plants have to be seperated form each other for the pollen not 2 pollenize the other plants? so how far away does can a male be from a female plant growing outdoors? thanks
im not for sure but probably a good ways. but why wouldnt you just go ahead and cut the male down once it shows sex? and its still pretty early to be planting, unless you are doing indoor or lowryder(or another strain that can grow in winter).
i have some lowryders growing and i want loads of seeds beacause u cant clone them, but i dont want the male low ryder to mix with my other big plants
ahhhh i see. id say ten+ feet to be on the safe side. like take all your males and one female and seperate them fromt he rest and let them like run a little train on her and she'll be seedy as shit.
Marijuana pollen is wind-bourne. The nearly microscopic grains can carry miles. Seperate as much as possible and be sure any males are downwind from the girls.
