Why do guys cheat?

I didn't read the other responses, I'm running out the door, so I apologise if this has been said already...

Cheating fucking sucks. People who do it don't do it because "they have needs" or whatever, they do it because they're selfish and don't give a flying fuck about what other people feel. Cheaters cheat because they don't care, deep down, even just for one moment, the caring is GONE - if it was ever there before. Lesson I learned the hard way: once they cheat, kick them out the door...if you don't, it's permission for them to do it again and again.

 

Actually, there's some debate that people are not monogamous.


Women get emotionally attached to men because they compete with other women for their resouces (men ) and Men dont because they're the ones that can impregnate others much faster than a woman can have a child.

...I suppose it's just that... since people usually only have one child at a time (and chances are they'll die early in life or in birth, primitively), many children need to be produced with many people

plus you dont really love the person you're with to the fullest extent if you cheat on them

and to cheat because your sexual needs werent fulfilled? love isnt all about sex.

today it seems that love means sexual partners, what ever happened to the dinner and a movie, with a kiss at the doorstep, or a trip to the fair and starring at the stars afterwards.

it seems to me that its, come over my house, lets fuck, than you can go home, bitch, and while im at it, ill fuck your bestfriend because you werent good enough.

I agree with this. Males are supposed to impregnate as much as possible to ensure the survival of the species, while women are supposed to search for the Alpha male to ensure the best genes go to their offspring. That's an instinct that's embedded in each one of us. That's where we get the stereotype that men are horn-dogs. Cause we are. Some think this is also why there are homosexuals....because of over-population......primitively.

But in this modern day, our minds are more advanced than instincts, and it's easy to overcome them. Sexual needs is no excuse. It's always a conscious decision to cheat. The cheater is either weak, or doesn't really want to be in a monogomous relationship. It's these people who are trying to have their cake and eat it too. Kick 'em to the curb, if it's true love you're looking for.

females live to conceive

if one spots a potentially superior mate, it will be a great test of will (or moral brainwashing) to stay away.

"true love" is finding the most superior mate you can - over time, oftain ending up in making compromises with your libido.

 

definately agree with those that talked about spreading the seed as much as possible...its instilled in our nature
