I loved this show, until Cartoon Network UK stopped showing it and gave up the whole "mature audience" idea. I wish it was ot on DVD here - it is in the US. I love the Mortgages & Marbles episode - hilarious. And that sketch with the rediculously big flowers in the middle of the table - obscuring the two people trying to have a conversation - is great.
one of my favorites is when coach magirk(spelling) is looking to move into a new place and immediately sells(gets kicked out) his apartment the first day he's looking
yes I think thats the Mortagages and Marbles one too. I liked that so much I waited ages for it to download on a 56K modem. Great show. Personally I wasn't sure about when they got rid of the "squiggliness" Remember? the animation used to be all sqiggly and rough then they smoothed it all out and it kinda lost it's distinctive look...Not often you find a cartoon with a sense of subtlety. People couldn't get used to that dry, low-key humour in a cartoon setting. More fool them. People are stupid.
I love Home Movies! Every episode is fantastic, but the one where Lynch & Coach McGuirk are taking ladies out to dinner, and then end up insulting each other the whole time, is probably the best.... to me anyway. It's on the first disc of season three, but I can't remember which episode it is.
Home Movies is one of the best cartoons ever. And I agree with you WharfRat, Coach Maguirk is the funniest character. .... i.e., when he shows up to the Renaissance Fair hung-over.
Ack, I love so many episodes...the one where Fenton Muley's having his birthday party and Brendan has to make a film for him, the one where Lynch becomes the principal and Coach McGuirk busts into the chemistry classroom to teach them about drinking...I love McGuirk so much. He reminds me of one of my favorite coaches from high school gym (and US History) who didn't give a crap about anything. God I loved that coach...

I love the episode when he thinks his father is still talking to him but he is really talking on his cell phone.
i didnt like the squigglevision in the beginning, it made me motion sick! i think we all agree-coach is the greatest! lol i like the fat kid too that they always hung out with, i cant really remember names, its been a while since ive seen it
