    I've been happy lately

thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be
    something good has begun

    oh I've been smiling lately
dream'n about the world as one
and I believe it could be
    somedays it's going to come

cause I'm on the edge of darkenss
    there lies the peace trains
    peace train take this country
    come take me home again

    now I've been smiling lately
think'n about the good things to come
and I believe it could be
    something good has begun

    peace train sound'n louder
    ride on the peace train
oh ah eh ah oh ah
    come on the peace train

    cause peace train holly roller
everyone up on the peace train
oh ah ee ah ohh ah
    come on peace train

    get your bags together
come bring your good friends too
    because it's getting nearer
it soon will be with you

    come and join the living
it's not so far from you
    and it's getting nearer
soon it will all be true

    Now I've been crying lately
thinking about the world as it is
why must we go on hating
why can't we live in bliss

    hi
thanks for this memory of beauty from within

i love this song, this story of the time for happiness
that is written in cat stevens words and music..

my partner brought cat stevens to me in a way ill never forget... we lay and listen to the album late at night
when all is asleep ie the kids ,and the roll of music
    flows over our heads...........
