Nice guitar pose Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm just wondering what kind of guitar that is? I like Tele-style bound bodies, but the only ones I can find have rosewood necks...
Its a Fender Telecaster JD, excellent guitar, versatile sound due to having the pickups wired the same as on a strat with a 5 position selector switch, meaning you can get that cool out of phase neck pickup strat sound on a tele, then flip to the bridge pickups for that twangy tele sound we all love so much! If you prefer the maple necks have a look at the Semi Acoustic versions, ala http://www.roadworthyguitars.com/98.thinline.html (although best to stay away from the mexican models, they blow!) I'm proud to say I have one of them too, but its a fair bit older than that one!
Ahh, a JD...I should have guessed from the Strat neck pickup... They have one of those in a place around here, but it's a bit too expensive for my wallet. Just out of interest, you mention Mexican models...have you tried any of the newer Fender Japan models? They don't do much, but their vintage reissues are pretty accurate... Good to meet another Tele fan anyway
