    anyone into them? for those who dont know they pretty much gave birth to the shoegazing scene in which while they performed they barely moved and were usually looking down on the stage but thats not what it was about really it was about pure sound. the sound usually consisted of long droning riffs with heavy distortion and feedback. They werent only shoegaze they had shades of alternative rock,dream pop, and noise pop. though they were only around for a breif time (late 80's early 90's) there influence on the 90's alternative scene was huge. they influenced such bands as (ride,the boo radleys,smashing pumpkins,the verve) 2 of there albums "isn't anything" and "Loveless" were the breakthrough of there signature sound. Brian Eno once said "they created a new strand of pop music.

    I htink I've heard a couple of songs by them, and as far as I can rememer I enjoyed them.

    loveless is a brilliant album, cant always get into it, but i love it.
