Can turist in amsterdam buy weed at the coffeyshops in amsterdam? i heard if you go on the smaller coffeyshop's you can buy it..is that correct? Plase reply
Toursits can only buy cannabis in Amsterdam if you are dressed as a Dutchster, this is a little known law which catches out a lot of tourists who are not aware and it has been discussed many times on this forum. Trying to buy any drugs of any sort while not in Dutch dress can result in arrest, so remember as soon as you depart from Central Station head straight for the nearest clogs store and then look to buy a large ball of Edam cheese. Once purchased and wearing your clogs (no socks remember) and carrying your large red cheese ball you can legitimately buy up to 5 grammes of cannabis at a time.

Nah you can go in as a tourist. Some coffeeshops mostly run on the tourists money. That other post is bullshit. Tourist come to amsterdam for the coffeeshops; so obviously you can get it.
