    I love all the greek/roman imagery
    where is the original?

    your just amazing, I cant wait until you start the spring painting..I get to be immortalized as a hippy !:)

    Ive seen the rest of your work too Moon, its great! Im an graduated artist myself, aldo I can focus for a long time on making a sculpture or installation I was never able to concentrate on a painting to work for weeks on it, mostly because the shadows drive me insane. Maybe the sentence of Delacroix works well: how younger the artist, the more easy the shadow looks. Maybe shadows deal with learning about the dark sides of life.

    Maybe this work looks a lot Dali like, but as you probably found out long before me, the big artists are the best to learn your techniques and sharpen your way of looking.

    Thanks guys! The original was sold in Ottawa years ago. Ithink it was 20 x 24 ".

    Red is the colour of PASSION ....also good Italian vino!
    One cannot live in the Renaissance without vino! (medicinal purposes only) LoL
