I've been crocheting for a while now and I have always wanted to learn to knit. A friend of mine taught me to knit and purl last night. I've done about 5 rows (not including the stuff I ripped out when I was learning). I'll post pics when I'm done. I'm making a scarf for my first project and then I'll be moving onto hats.
Congrats on learning to knit! I know that you will really enjoy it, I certainly do. Can't wait to see pics of your scarf!
I would like to learn how. First though I'd like to buy a sewing machine. I always feel like I want to upholster everything.
knitting is such a great craft... became a lost art almost, for a while, thankfully it's trendy again!
