One wonders how voting for Respect is any different from voting for any other kufr (un-Islamic) democratic party, such as Labour or Conservatives, as they all have the same agenda, ultimately being a government which rules by their vain desires and evil ideology (democracy). Recently, Allah (SWT) has disgraced these so-called Muslims and the one they have associated with Allah, George Galloway, by causing him to appear on a reality TV show "Celebrity Big Brother". Shows such as this contain all the corruption Allah (SWT) has forbidden, such as free-mixing, fornication, drinking, nudity, swearing and many other abominable acts. These kinds of programmes attract only the lowest of the low who desperately seek recognition and fame by any means possible. They are people who have no honour, respect or dignity and can only be described as animals. George Galloway will certainly have no trouble fitting in as he has all the criteria the show is looking for. George Galloway is being paid 60,000 pounds a year to be an MP. He should be sacked immediatly for neglecting his Parliamentary duties. Though in my opinion he should have never been allowed to stand as an MP in the first place after his Abu Hamaza style rants where he compared Tony Blair and George Bush to satan and where he called on terrorists in Iraq to murder our troops. That is high treason by anyones standards.

I saw peter tatchell in the big green gathering he had just had a fatwa out on him because of his support for gay muslims . and I think was a little nervous of being targeted and at the time... I looked kind of islamic I had a wonderfull zz top beard I said what a great job he had done but didnt talk to him to much as I had the feeling he may have thought I was a jihadi . anyway in his talk he said what we need to do if we were against the war is come up with a real plan to get rid of saddam, because just being against the war and leaving him in place wasnt good enough. he also said we need to have some idea on what to do about iran and the human rights there.

Hello Jonny2mad, Do you know any British Muslims? Or are your views based on what you see on telly and in the newspapers? I know many muslims who are as horrified by what these extrenists say just as most christians are horrified by the views of right wing extrenist christians. This whole debate has been polarised and portraid as a clash of civilisations. Repressive regimns such as the one in Saudi Arabia owe their survival to the western powers which prop them up, in return for access to their resources and use of their land for military bases to extend their influence in the middle east. No wonder their subjects and citizens are pissed off with the governments of the US and UK. I'd like to pick you up on a few points- The labour party no longer represent the left of british politics. "Most british muslims" did not harass Rushdie and are not represented by nutters like Hamza, or ex rock star convert zealots like Cat Stevens. Muslims are not like nazis as you seem to sugest. I urge you to talk to your muslim neighbours, I think you'll find they are normal easy going people on the whole. Do you know who was responsible for the attacks of sept 11th and july 7th? I don't. Hi! Correct me if I'm wrong, I think Saudi, iran, iraq, and Kuwait are ex british colonies, and their present borders were drawn by the british govt. Kuwait was formerly part of what is now iraq, but it was separated as it had most of the seaports to export the oil. So "countries like Saudi Arabia are" in to a great extent "like they are because of the west ," Most of these middle eastern, ex british colonies became US protectorates during the 50s and 60s If you look at global distribution of oil reserves and of american military bases, you will find a close correlation. The US is happy to see any kind of government in these countries, as long as they deliver the what the US wants. Was it Kissenger who said of a third world dictator "He may be a son of a bitch but he's our s.o.b" where is that quote from? Saudi is an ideal situation for oil business, tax haven, repressive stable regimn, who generally tow the line. You can see how the populations of these countries are angry with western colonial powers, the so called democracies which have inflicted this on them. Islam springs from the same root as christianity and judaeism, the old testament is common to all 3 religions. You can justify almost anything with reference to the O.T. islam is no more Homophobic or Mysogenist than Christianity or Judaeism. Siddiqui may be the official representative of UK muslims, but he is hardly typical. He was not elected by participation of all british muslims. Just as the Arch Bish of Cant' isn't typical of UK christians. These are clerics. Being knighted is hardly an endorsement of saddiqui as a rep' of british muslims. I do believe there are many muslims who would like to live under sharia, but i think there are a great many who are happy to live by their own moral laws without imposing them on others. It seems the media give more publicity to radical nutters more than liberal moderate voices. Not all british muslims advocate killing all homosexuals. It's not all black and white.
