uhm...I came out to everyone, well most ppl, and everything is still the same...I was expecting the world to be a whole new horrible place if anyone was to ever find out I loved cock. but...besides my mother making gay jokes about every other day. it's nothing but normal...has anyone else had that happen. or is being gay just downright acceptable these days...lol
So, you are a lucky one. Your environment is obviously very progressive and tollerant. Count your blessings and enjoy them. If you took your time and read here the stories of those who were not equally blessed, you may see my point. Good Luck... KD
lucky bastard! as I wrote about in my other thread, having feelings for guys nearly destroyed my relationship with my family and I had to go back into the closet for damage control.
He is dead...so I couldn't tell you...lol but my step-dad is same as always...(we never ever got along)
Whenever I feel like maybe I came out in a rubbish way or whatever I think of this, and honestly, knowing some people's parents are that okay with it makes me feel so much better about mine taking no interest whatsoever. I wouldn't want them setting me up with people if I wasn't gay, so it suits me fine.
Same for me. Only some of my closest friends... though it's kind of weird, a couple of my really really close friends don't know that I'm bi. Maybe because I think they'd think too differently of me. Or maybe it's because then they'd get paranoid about me at sleepovers. But that's just silly.
some people do get paranoid at sleep overs I had it happen once to me before. long story short he's not my friend anymore, but that I do not regret at all. as for yur schoolmates. thats what I did aswell. I came out to all my friends then...it spread and spread, my uncle actually told my mother, she freaked out for about an hour, then everything was fine....lol she was all "who turned you gay?"...I couldn't help but laugh...
In high school you should be very discreet about who you tell. If you tell one wrong person it will come around to your parents, and that is a risk you should not take until you have already moved out.
yeah I have only actually come out and told 5 friends, to other people I may have made comments that could have led them to believe that I am gay. I live in a fairly conservative area, i try to be pretty careful with who I tell.
