if they're Canadian citizens, which they must be to vote, then they're every bit as Canadian as you are and thier voice in government equally vital on a less civilised note: you're a racist douchebag Anyways, things turned out more or less like I expected, though the liberals somehow managed to hold onto most of thier stongholds in Ontario. I'm pleased with the results of this election for a few reasons: -support for the bloc dropped AND the conservitives made gains there, which will give Quebecors a voice in the government and ease soverigntist tensions -the NDP made huge gains, hopefully that will translate into some barganning power for social/environmental issues -the liberals lost the government but weren't beatin so badly that parliment will lack a strong voice on the left, they can also go about the task of sorting out thier party and its leadership without it falling to shambles -the conservitives are not going to be in a position to muscle in social policies that the left of centre voters disagree with
How's it feel not knowing a damn thing about our politics? Conservites here are NOTHING like your neo-con republicans to begin with and the way the seats work out in Parliment they won't be able to govern with an outright mandate. We're going to have a parliment that will be dealing with things on a case by case basis, Harper will not be the supreme commander so much as a mediator for the wishes of Canadians.
Bigot. I prefer bigot. I will give you this though, most Asians are pretty damned close to as Canadian as most canucks. Except for the eyes.
