Cleveland Botanical Gardens

My partner and I took a little road trip to Cleveland and I just got some pics developed.

The botanical gardens there are beautiful...this section is supposed to be a replica of the Cloud Forest in Costa Rica...there was an ecosystem inside! Complete with ants, butterflies and birds!

WOW! Those are absolutely beautiful!!! I would love to go to something like that.

Also, you two make a very cute couple.

I forgot you live in Ohio...what city are you near?

 

Nice place. I've been there too. They have an outdoor area too with a place for kids.

During the summer there are free concerts on Wednesdays at noon and at 5:30pm in the Wade Park right next to the Botanical Gardens. The admission price to the garden is reduced on Wed evenings in the summer.

The Art, History, and Auto museums are all right there too in Wade Circle. Excellent stuff.

There's also a planetarium at the history museum and a refractor telescope that's open to the public on certain evenings. The history museum also has free astronomy lectures in the evening, about 3 or 4 per semester given by researchers from notable institutions.

Maybe I can meet you sometime there in the future, Annie.

We didn't really know of anything going on in Cleveland. We stayed on Euclid and went to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, the House of Blues (to see Ekoostik Hookah), and the Museum of Contemporary Art (my partner loved it, of course). We also ate at the Great Lakes Brewing Company (mmm, I had the Holy Moses...I was in heaven!).

Unfortunately since it was in the middle of winter we didn't get to do the outdoor area of the Gardens

I guess I have to go back!

 

Woah! That's absolutely incredible!! I can't wait until May so I can take a trip to Montreal's Botanical Gardens and capture all the blossoms and brightly colored flowers on camera to share with you all. Gorgeous shots luv! A beautiful couple too!
