    Haida Frog

The original homeland of the Haida people is the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia, Canada. Prior to contact with Europeans, a group migrated north to the Prince of Wales Island area within Alaska. This group is known as the “Kaigani” or Alaska Haidas. Today, the Kaigani Haida live mainly in two villages, Kasaan and the consolidated village of Hydaburg.

    Frog
Frog is a symbol of prosperity, considered friendly as it is said he warns humans of imminent danger. Haida peoples carved Frog on house poles to prevent them from falling over. Tlingit legend tells of a chief’s daughter who laughed at Frog and was lured into the lake by a frog in human form. Frog People refused to let her go, so her family drained the lake, thus scattering frogs everywhere.

yes lots of diffrent tribes (ainchent and now) use the frog.all(or most )of the indian tribes pretty much say the same thing about this animal.(not shure what regon this design of the frog is from, they all draw it diffrently and i just liked this design best for a tat.)
in a nut shell ,these are some of the meanings i gatherd from sevral tribes in diffrent regons.
    -renewall
    -new beganing in all things
    -comunicater
    -transformation
    -regeneration
-signals us to put down winter activeitys and get ready for the new seson

theres lots more, the frog has ben my spirit giud for sevral years.my name woodenfrog was givin to me 12 years ago.woodenfrog was a chief in the northern part of the u.s. and into canida.
my wife and i spent our honeymoon on chief woodenfrog island in Minasotta.
Im kinda frog crazy sence i was younger.ive studdyed lots of diffrent kinds of frogs.
(didnt really wanna gointo all this but there ya go)
this tat means a whole hellofa lot to me ,as well as the frog the animal spirit, thats why i put it on my hand so i will allways remember who i am and who will be giuding me in all things.
im glad you like it,and thanks for your kind words
    sunshine to you
