    The Arista Years.

I remember first hearing Terrapin Station while laying in the sun in the summer. I really got into them from my dad. I was exposed to Reckoning a lot in the car. The first GD album I actually went out and bought that was all mine and not my dads was Aoxomoxoa.

American Beauty, then Reckoning. After I got into Anthem in the Sun I didn't listen to much more studio work from them.

The archive is where its at. Or, where it used to be, anyways.

The first and only Dead album I got was Skeletons from the Closet (the best of). Just went out and bought it one day, as I'd heard of the Dead and wondered about whether I would like them or not. And I did, some of those songs are out of sight!

So I should really buy some more albums. Any recommendations?

Workingman's Dead, which is my favorite. "Dire Wolf", "New Speedway Boogie", "Easy Wind", and "Black Peter" are my favorite songs off of the album.

Everybody says that they heard Touch Of Grey as the song that introduced them to The Dead, well it was the same way for me, but it's pretty much the only tune they play from them on classic rock radio. But some independent stations in my area play a lot of Dead.

i started out getting shows. my first was 1971-12-10. it remains one of my favorite shows. my first album was anthem of the sun, took me a little while to get into. But then i got high my first time and listened to that's it for the other one and the space tripped me out and it was pretty neat :sunglasse
