Upload all of my MP3's to my Gmail account? I'm trying to back them up and I don't have a cd burner...

 

sure...as long as you don't exceed your gmail limits you can just mail them to yourself at gmail as attachments

 

there's a way to mount gmail as a hard drive on your computer, it shows up under "my computer" as "gmaildrive"

you can use it with more than one gmail adress for more storage too, just send yourself invites and make more accounts

 

there is one another way also, i can't say it's so much useful but why don't zip all of your songs and upload as one ?..

I know a place where you can get like 5 gigs of spce, your own domain name, cant remember the bandwidth, email addresses databases etc, for only about $30 US the first year

Gmail is a 50/50 good/bad service. You can send and store all the emails you want. But you may regret having the emails. So whether you should even sign up is a question. It's a question straight outta life, no shit.

I don't have a gmail acct cause i'm afraid, but it would be sweet to host a million songs on the internet so you never lose them but the think is, if the record companies want to sue you who knows, somehow you might end up in JAIL.

so it's all about are you going to JAIL or not. kinda scary, huh?

No way would I end on such negative note. I'm at least grateful that I have been able to body surf.
