    Silver coin

    Prayer
    fire from within
    powerful river
    hot embers, blowing ashes
    fluidity and distractions
raven steals the sun, a silver coin

    Empty pockets
    holy men and beggars
    starvation
    death
    our greatest ally

    History
    skeletons and burial sites
    relics
    sky scrapers, golf courses
    discourses
    autobiography of the earth

    Someone called her mother
    protection
    late night television
    1 dollar a day
    lady of the sea
    orca

    Natural disaster

A little hard to follow, but still beautiful... I like the metaphor of the sun as a coin.

Sometimes life is like that, hard to follow. This poem is different then any other I have written. Its purposely molded to be confusing. Thanks for the comment.

    guarding embers,
    a rainbow is darkened,
    lining the nest with glitter.
