Ok, just the other night I had a crazy dream...followed but yet another crazy dream.
My Dad passed away a little over a year ago. I had a dream that he and his friends tied me by my ankles to a post under a barn. They were sitting on the tailgate of his truck drinking and laughing, watching me. All of a sudden they begin to shoot at me, laughing and pointing. I tried to escape, dodging bullets...
then I woke up in a cold sweat.
My second dream took place night before last. It started off at my house. My 2 bestfriends were here and all of a sudden my Dad pulled up in the yard in his truck. He asked us to ride with him, we did. He took us to his house, which was left to my Grandma (my 'rents are seperated). We got out of the truck and walked around...he put his arm around me and pointed at the house, he kept repeating, "This is your house, this is all yours!" We got back in the truck and he took us to another house. He said the same about this one, and the next, and the next. He just kept taking me to all these houses and telling me that they were mine. He took me to this tall brick building, it was similar to a prison...and said, "This is your house, it's all your's."
This really shook me up. I'm not very good at making sense out
of my dreams...if anyone might know what these, or even one of these dreams could mean...feel free to tell.

Do you have any brothers? If so, one of them could be representing your dad.

Yes, I have one brother. He looks just like my Dad. But, why would he be representing my Dad?? I was really thinking more along the lines of my Dad being mad at me for something I've done...

Most people cannot dream of saying anything bad against, or fighting, with one's parents.

In my case, whenever I fought with my brother, I knew that I would soon have a fight with my boss. Me fight with my father? Never happen; my subconscious has too much respect and love for the man; same with my mother. The only times I dream with my mother is when I know that she is sick; she also always dreams when I am sick.

So unless your dad actually did do the types of things you describe, for you to ascribe them to him when it is against his nature says that it probably isn't your real dad and that your dad is representing someone whom you look up to and trust. Like a brother, uncle, boss, friend, etc.
