Ok so you kids think you know it all with your new fangled stuff but when I was a young en I liked listening to the sleaziest nastiest rock music in the world.

I'm not ashamed to say I liked The Crue and I'm not even ashamed to say I liked Poison but there were dirtier nastier sounding bands than that such as....

    Kix
    Twisted Sister
    Cinderella
    Tesla
    Dogs D'amour
    Quireboys
    Ratt
    Skid Row

    and Love/Hate....

    Rock and...... Roll...................

My introduction to rock was Doro Pesche when she was in Warlock and Dio (Ronnie James Dio) who were playing in Birmingham,UK.We didn't even smoke or drink then, and got our dad to give us a lift to the concert. From there it went downhill into ACDC,ZZTOP,megadeth, slayer, and the journey never ends..!

Your kidding! I'm getting into it all over again 15 years later - what with the internet the way it is these days I've downloaded everything I lost over the years.Bloody hell I was even downloading Van Halen - Women and Children First, yesterday - but anyway

I know - it's only rock and roll but I like it - like it - yes I do - alRATE!

    I am - and I'll be - I am - n you'll see - I am - I'm me - I am ...... I'm me.

    (twisted sister were so profound)

    - you've got to tear it loose tear it loose - tear it loose - tear it loose!

(yyyyYESS!) - that was my butthead impersonation..

incidentally have you heard beavis n butthead with cher.
It's kind of cheesy but it rocks. And as for lesbian seagull.. well...!

Probably Alice in Chains and Pink Floyd to me.
I also have to say Kurt Cobain was able to write the most simple (yet catchy) guitar riffs, which I admire aswell.
