People experience happiness in many ways... some small, some more monumental. What is happiness to you? I'll start -- Happiness to me is seeing my beautiful wife's smile reach her eyes and set them aglow. (you can gag if you want, but it's true!) Happiness to me is also watching my dog pounce on her favorite doggy treats when I toss them on the floor. Her tail wags so much! Edit: (dang, I did a search before posting this and didn't see this thread until after I saw the sticky advertising the Looking Glass forum. Do searches search those forums by default? It's like a whole different world!)
Happiness is realising I'm not part of that illusion. Happiness to me is an open heart and empty mind.
Happiness is knowing i have a purpose and having faith in the future. Happiness is a day spent with my best friend. Happiness is loving and being loved (and learning to love myself more every day) Happiness is having goals and looking forward to reaching those goals. Happiness is having the security of knowing there will always be someone who'll care for you but also having the freedom to travel Happiness is realising that life is magical Xx
happiness is knowing that no matter what happens, theres always tomorrow. happiness is knowing that no matter how sad you get, you will still be happy again someday. happiness is that friend that is always there for you no matter what. happiness is looking into your girlfriends eyes and seeing everything you've ever wanted. happiness is knowing that you are loved by someone. happiness is living life to the fullest just because you can. and most importantly, happiness is everywhere and in everything you just have to look.
Happiness is waking up next to my husband every morning, and snuggling up to him every night, feeling safe, happy, and so content. Happiness is looking at him and feeling more in love now than the day we were married. Happiness is the endless flood of "I love you's" that my children say to me, the kisses, and the hugs. Happiness is marvelling at my childrens' every accomplishment, feeling such pride and love for the amazing little people that they are.
Happiness is falling asleep with my wife in my arms. Happiness is tickling my 3 year old's tummy and hearing him giggle and squeal. Happiness is watching my 7 year old accomplish something that he's worked hard at and being proud of him. Happiness is having a beer and watching the game with my friends.
To feel free in everything i do....i can be happy with so little things, like if somebody just smile at me!
Happiness is a full belly, a good book, and a few free hours. Happiness is riding in a car with my nephew with the windows rolled down and hearing him giggle as the wind ruffles his hair. Happiness is looking into the eyes of the man I love. It's sadness too. Happiness is finally having all my laundry done. Happiness is walking in a spring rainfall with no particular destination in mind. Happiness is sitting in front of the ocean at night, lost in the sound and the vastness. Happiness is getting more than four hours of sleep.
