Baby Child came in from the turbulent sea, amid
The waves of change and onto the sands of time, timid
First steps make way through the beachfront, stumbling
Forward toward destiny, fleetingly within grasp
Hearing singing and hiding behind Future’s Mask,

The loud chorus of the New Dawn awakens Baby Child
With the stillness of the night behind
Baby Child reaches out and smiles
Gathering skies full of eyes, pale brilliance shining
Remembering that today is only yesterday’s tomorrow
And gazing upon Beauty’s Love, Baby Child
    Understands the passage of time,

Pile upon pile of trials is met with smiles
Baby Child still searching for an answer
Reaches forth and taking a few handfuls of water
Into his mouth he spits out the effluent
And wonders what happened to the Days of the New.
