There's a woman I work for part-time as a personal assistant and she wants me to find for her a weekend-long yoga teacher training/certification course. (in Los Angeles)

Does such a thing even exist? Most of the teacher training programs I have found as I've been looking for her run much longer, the shortest being 24 days. I personally wouldn't really want a teacher who only took a weekend course in teaching but she is fairly insistent on finding one. If you know if any such course is out there I'd appreciate the help!

Ask her to find you a course to make you a high school teacher in a month?

Becoming a yoga instructor in a weekend is ridiculous, don't encourage her by trying to find something like that. Even if you found one, it would probably be just as shady as a person who tries teaching yoga after a weekend.

    Does she practice yoga personally?
    *sigh*
Theres always YogFit. They teach yoga for fitness, but really its like visiting a random town in the united states and saying you've experienced the states without going to Yosemite, Niagra Falls, The Glaciers, Prarries, Mountains and vast rivers that the U.S.A has to offer of travelers who seek a true experience.

Yoga for fitness is just that, yoga for fitness. they did a training in a weekend, but they have 3 different levels. I'd encourage your associate to go to all three levels if possible, especially if they have no previous yoga experience.

I wanted to find a teacher's training course so I could teach kids yoga, and found one that's a one day thing, but I practice yoga, and have for several years now.

A weekend long course to teach an actual adults class is absurd really. Not only would I not trust a teacher who came out a program that short, but I wouldn't trust a program that claimed to teach you everything you need to know about teaching yoga in a weekend.
