Anyone here like Half Pint? I found out about through his connection with Sublime/Long Beach Dub Allstars. Was wondering what others thought of him?
yea ive known of him for a while through the same way. I got the Right Back album from the long beach dub allstars and they had a song called Pass it On and i was hooked. The only bad thing is that his music doesnt really get too much better than that song. Ive been searching for really good ones but i just have come up short. He also used to be in songs like those booty mixes like that "woop there it is" crap. I found a song with him on that. It was crazy lol. I dunno he has amazing lyrics and an awsome voice, id just like to see him create some better tracks.
I bought his 'Recollection' CD (it's basiclly a best of/essential album), it was an excellent mix of songs. I was a bit disapointed by 'Right Back', there are some frickin' awesome tracks on it, but some horrible ones too. Like the redo of 'Saw Red' with Barrington Levy, that song is HORRIBLE!
aww man you just gotta let it grow on you. ive been into sublime for years and years and years, and when i heard of long beach i was into them for a while too and it just has to grow on you. Now i can listen to right back from start to finish and enjoy every song and each lyric haha
Yeah, I've had it for about 6 months, or something around that. Some of the stuff on it is just TOO cheesey. Have you heard anything by Long Beach Shortbus, or Dubcat?
I like his nummer: Too rude,i've heard that song when it was coverd bij the expensive wino's. Great song,one time i saw a dvd from half pint.But that's the only thing i saw/heard from him.

i liked 'level the vibes' and 'greetings' and 'landlord' and maybe a few others. stuff with LBDA was pretty good. nothing to do with half pint but LBShortbus is great too
yes i like half pint..check out "greetings i bring from jah"...tune saw him at summer jam a couple years back too...good stuff...
