The Rules of Conservative Correctness:

1) if anyone disagrees with you, they are a "Democrat"



2) if anyone argues with you, they are a "Liberal"



3) if they argue with you and actually present data (formerly known as "debating"), shrug it off as "propaganda from the Liberal Media"



4) if you cannot rebut the argument pick on details such as misspellings,improper punctuation or taglines



5) If your opponent has an unrefutable argument, change the subject



6) if your opponent consistently overturns your "correct" stories (anything told by Rush Limbaugh), use ad hominem attacks.



7) anyone who puts life over profits is a "tree hugger"



8) anyone who refutes or debates "correct" science (Creationism, Ecological Stability) is a "sky-is-falling" reactionary



9) anyone who opposes the melding of religion and government is one of the "liberals" who helped create the rampant immorality today



10) any federal program created by a Democrat, or that "looks" Democratic is "socialistic".



11) dismantling programs and restrictions on spending then sending the money to states as a "block grant" is better than having a standardized Federal program with rules



12) giving tax money to People is "enslaving them", giving tax money to Corporations is "making jobs"



13) anything that does not turn a profit for private corporations is "an elitist" operation



14) always take everything personally



15) whatever your weakness is, blame it on your opponent



16) the more narrow and prejudiced your sources, the more you project that onto your opponent



17) when your opponent attacks a Republican/conservative President's policies, blame them on a Democratic Congress (or vice versa)



18) when quoting your opponent, edit his words to conform to "correctness"



19) anyone who reads anything beyond "the Limbaugh Letter" is an "ivory tower intellectual"

20) when all else fails, lie

 

I attribute it to mass mind control, really. People have been deliberately conditioned by the media to adopt a mindlessly reactionary and sportslike mentality when it comes to politics, where you are either on "this" side or "that" side. There is never any gray area. This is designed to create division amongst the masses who, like fools will argue amongst each other while failing to see that both sides are being lead down the same trail of lies to their ultimate demise. This is exactly what the globalists want. They want a society that is busy arguing amongst each other over milquetoast issues that have been implanted into their minds by the corporate media. Both sides believe only what they have been told to believe, which is why much of the so-called Left still refuses to give creedence to the 9/11 atrocities perpetrated by their own government.

Unfortunately, the liberals are just as bad, and have been every bit as mislead as the neocon Right. For instance, the liberals believe the war in Iraq is wrong, as do I, yet they fail to see that the whole thing, along with the bin-Laden-did-it fairy tale, has been concocted by the state and is being used to manipulate the masses into accepting endless war and tyranny.

As far as I am concerned, anyone who buys into this lie is trapped within the same matrix reality as their imagined opponents. Part of what is keeping the globalists' system of control and manipulation in tact is people's failure to think outside the box and objectively examine the situation without conforming to rigid belief systems (ie: political parties and labels - conservative/liberal... Democrat/Republican, etc.).

I agree, that was brilliant. Its like what the Clash say, "Cheat, if you can't win", does anyone have any practical ideas on how we can counter the "low blows" of conservatives without actually sinking to their level? Because I think many of us here have had a fucking gutful.

Yes I admit liberals are just as capable of denying the rights of others to free speech but I am not one of them. So don't put all of us in the same boat, just as I refuse to put conservatives in the same boat.

In fact it was actually conservatives which came up with the idea of free speech, and this is why I think conservatism is not completely useless.

I too was once disillusioned that people chose to belong to groups of throught - ie. conservatives/liberals but like I said, its about the definition of the word conservatism, in my eyes, and again, dont put me in the same boat as other liberals.

I hate to have to keep on saying this but conservatisim is the preservation of old values in a world that is changing incredibly rapidly - therefore it doesn't actually hold any sense or practicality.

I don't give a fuck about any of your mind control theories, I had to do that bit of thinking off of my own back, in my backyard, underneath the stars away from TV, the internet and books, because I felt it didn't actually make sense for me to be 'a liberal' when essentially there is a whole scope of opinions to be regarded. It was then I realised that liberalism, by nature, actually encouraged one to consider these opinions because of the simple fact that true liberalism welcomes critical thinking of everydody's opinions while true conservatism preserves current or old values at ANY cost.

Don't ever close your eyes to the fact that these conspiracy theories that you band about so willingly might just be holding your mind captive too.

 

Why are you so belligerent? That's not any way of getting your point across to people. By telling people to shut up, you're displaying the same fascistic tactics of the people you claim to differ from. Frankly, I don't care if people feel the need to cling to false labels. I just feel that it's important to know that the Left/Right paradigm was established by the system to control you. It's called divide and rule. When you create polarities, you create a system in which people are distracted by the issues confined to these two belief systems. So you have people arguing over things they have been told to believe in, based on the label they have chosen for themselves, while failing to see the big picture.

The majority of liberals, like conservatives, believe what they do based on what they have been told to believe, whether it's through the media, political groups, etc... all of which are controlled from the top down by the same few.

The bulk of people in society have been duped. It makes no difference whether they are Righties or Lefties.

The government TAKES Money, and they TAKE from both Individuals AND Corporations.

 

No one truly makes 100 percent of his money by himself. Individuals depend on a wide array of government services to support the very free market in which they earn their money. Without these supports, there would be no free market in the first place.

These individuals could not have made a dime on the free market without any of the following government supports of the free market:

Printing the very dollar bills with which people trade.
Public roads.
Rural electrification.
Government subsidized telephone wiring.
Satellite communications.
Police protection.
Military protection.
A criminal justice system.
Fire protection.
Paramedic protection.
An educated workforce.
An immunized workforce.
Protection against plagues by the Centers for Disease Control.
Public-funded business loans, foreclosure loans and subsidies.
Protection from business fraud and unfair business practices.
The protection of intellectual property through patents and copyrights.
Student loans.
Government funded research and development.
National Academy of Sciences.
Economic data collected and analyzed by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Prevention of depressions by Keynesian policies at the Fed (successful for six decades now).
Dollars protected from inflation by the Fed.
Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Public libraries.
Cooperative Extension Service (vital for agriculture)
National Biological Service.
National Weather Service
Public job training.

The rich and these corporations use and waste MORE RESOURCES and fuck up the environment more than any poor person. And they STILL have more money than they'll EVER need to live WAY beyond their means!

THEY SHOULD GIVE MORE BACK IN TAXES...A HELL OF A LOT MORE.

I don't actually see how my sentiments, which one would appropriately label as liberal, that is attempting to find alternative ways of living which escape the rule of totalitarian governments altogether, can in any way help some "new world order". I can understand your ideas about polarity, but i think they are far too black and white and completely disregard the fact that not all people belonging to the liberal or conservative side of living are incapable of escaping the influence of thought enslaving forces in our society and are able to think for themselves.

oh yeah - let me just say that your beliefs are just as valuable as anyone elses on here, and as of yet there is no way I can agree or disagree with your conspiracy theories which may have a lot of truth in them.

The reason why you get people like me so angry is because it appears you completely invalidate everyone elses beliefs by telling them that they are a product of propaganda and manipulation from conspirators, If you didn't so blatantly put us all in the same little box I think a lot of us would actually listen to you, and you would be able to change more minds. I do agree with many of the government activities you listed {not all}, but they all fall into the category of control, control in the scientific definition.

But to say GIVE BACK to government is fundamentally incorrect. No money is EVER originated with the government. It ALL comes from people, and any money the government has, is money they have taken.
