I hate fake hippies

where do you live in La? I'm in ascension parish, and that's like..a bigg growing trend here..
Stupid little girls calling themselves 'hippys' because they think it's sooo cool, when they buy their super expensive hippie clothes from...wherever people buy super expensive clothes.

And these don't even make the effort! haha..they don't do drugs and they don't even really listen to classic rock
pathetic is what they are... I don't even worry about it because everyone can see through it..

 

I know what your saying. I was drug to the mall by some friends they said I needed some style. We get there and smack in the front display a rainbow flow skirt. $40 they replyed with oh thats so hippy I wish I had one. when im with them im in professional dress cause it came with the job a stupid dress code. well said all that to say they just posed completely and had 0 clue. just to let you know from what they tell me its "high Fashoin" to be a hippy if that explains anything.

I actually dont like labels and all.. I dont think Im a hippie at all... Ive had a strange lifestyle way before i even knew about hippies... then i fell on this site, describing the hippie life... you know, finding the meaning of life, psychedelics, weird clothing and all...
and everyone at school looking at me once in a while when im really lost in my thoughts, or walking around with my weird hair and my drugged up looks.saying ''haha.. hippie!''
But i dont believe that people can be labeled like that so easily. Your mind is your mind. the consiousness of people cannot meet that easily. You wont have 2 people exactly alike .. being exactly what hippie is all about. If thats the case, then there has to be atleast 50% of hippies who read about what hippies do... and decided to take it in their way of life.
