This is Donovan. I had to take a secret picture, 'cause he doesn't like having his picture taken . He's possibly even more hippie-ish than me.

 

the word "lover" can go one of 3 ways.

 

your really in love with the feelings that a person invokes in you, This usually starts with a face you see that that you perceive as comfortable, friendly, kind looking etc...

Emotions are programmable and there basically learned behaviors. real love to me is Communication, sharing, caring etc... not the physical act of "sex" thats the last step. to a real relationship in truth.

Well, by "lover" I mainly meant someone you love, not someone you necessarily have sex with. But I guess it can be either.

 

Well I sure as hell do not know what "love" is. I haven't had any meaningful relationships with other women. And I despise all these teenagers with their boyfriends and their girlfriends thinking that they found the love of their life (I call these people "drama kids"). It's all bullshit high school puppy love. High School relationships never last and it always ends with drama and all the shit teenagers should not have to experience until they get older.

I don't know why they do that. Love is to powerful for the youth and teenagers. well not towards parents, thats just natural (if you read a child called it you'd know 'cause thats all he wanted from his mom, love). but i mean older teenagers it might very well be love, but i think a lot of them are not sure about that at all, and just say it 'cause it feels like its the right thing to say. The teenagers here on Hipforums, i think yall are real open minded so i think you guys would really know if your in love.

edit: and to anwser the question, no i'm not going out with any hippie, nor am i in love with one

We were both sixteen in this poor-quality picture. This is the first, last, and only picture we took together, because I foolishly broke up with him shortly thereafter. He was my hippie love, and I still love him after all this time.

I guess I was still pretty fucked up in the head from my previous relationship, and the new love started telling everyone we were bf/gf before I was really ready for that. So the relationship wasn't built on the best of foundations to begin with, and just when I was done getting over my hangups, something seemed weird. I broke up with him before we could deteriorate into the kind of sad, dead love I'd had with the previous ex.

I know it had to be done, but I wish I could've found a better way. To this day, I still don't know what I could've done, but if I could start again, I would figure something out.

 

She is beutiful, and you are a very lucky guy. I have a love like that too (no not the acoustic in my signature), only she is a Washburn Idol 64, who I have taken no pictures of yet (We "met" just over a week ago).

As far as the young love goes, 99% of the time it DOESN'T last, and is based on lust, or a stong feeling of "like" than love. But early adolesance is also a confusing time for kids. I beleive that it is all a maturity thing though, and a drama type thing. I have never been a dramatic person, even when I delved into emo music and that whole scene. I have always been pretty laid back and never had much of a problem with feelings of angst, anger, sadness, or any of those types of emotions getting the best of me. I know people who are in their 20's who are overly-dramatic and seem to fall in love 3 days after breaking up witht he last "love of their life" as well as I know some younger teenagers who have taken a MUCH more mature approach to it. Although both of these cases are actually, REALLY rare...

I haven't found the human female love of my life yet, but I am still searching.

I found mine however I really don't know how to post a picture, but he's great I love him more than any word could express. oh wait I think I got it...lol that's me and then there is the only picture I have on my computer of him and I I have to get more...
