How much THC is destroyed from lighting weed with a bic? I was trying to think of a way I could light it directly and not have so much THC loss, but I can't figure anything out. I was thinking of maybe touching it with only the tip of the flame or like 5mm away, but it seems too hard (I haven't tried it)
The only way it'd make any difference is by using a vaporisor. if you're all that worried about it, make one.
if youre worried, then get the cherry going and smoke off that. the cherry is much less heated than the flame, and is probably not hot enough in many cases to destroy any
Yeah, either cherry your bowl, or hold the flame just above the bowl, as to smolder the the weed rather than just flat out burning it.
and also lol you can use the end of the flame, instead of the middle part (so, the yellow bit, not the blue bit)
the actual burning of the weed, be it the flame or cherry destroys A LOT of THC (we're talkin more than 90% here), but having the cherry prob destroys less. most of the THC comes from the weed next to the cherry being vaporized from the heat when you suck, and not the actual cherry itself.
The methods we have been using have worked for years and so why is everyone worried about destroying thc? I prefer to destroy it into my lungs. MMMMMMM tasty.
you can vape with a lighter. you just put the flame above the weed so its not touching. do it next time you green a bowl. it heats it up but doesnt burn it but its ghetto too. just get a vape.
