Well for a few days I was having I guess you call them contractions?.. My tummy would get really hard for a few sec's.. and then stop.. At 1:30am I wake up with a tummy ache I thought I had to use the bathroom but after sitting there for a while I came to realize the pain in my back was not consistent.. I didn't think I was in labor I really didn't feel to much pain. I went to bed.. It did not go away I walked around and it was still there I decided to call the midwife and she told me to come over. I really thought I wasn't in labor since I had just gotten checked 2 days ago and was still 1.5 cm.Well I showered and got last min stuff ready. When I got out of the shower I had a tiny bit of bloody show.. Well the only place open at that time was walgreens and we stopped by to get some snacks for the labor. Which I still thought I was going to be sent home.. Well when I got there I was 6CM!! I went into the tub and oh my it was the best feeling ever after 1 1/2 they checked me again and I was 8-cm!..This is when I got the meds for GBS & My cervix was a little swollen so they waited a few more contractions and then pushed it back.. a few more contractions and am ready to push.. It took only 4 mins to get her out.. and.. it was the best experience of my life. I did rip a little her head and arm came out all at once. but I didn't even feel it..Baby came out looking really good we was 7.7oz 21 in long.. and very pink since the moment she was born. I did bleed a long I have very heavy periods. and always bleed a lot. 5 mins after she was born she nursed and that helped me bleeding A LOT!.. now 2 days post and my bleeding has gone down to a mild period. four minutes, wow! you had an easy labor, you are very lucky. congratulations, those are great pictures and she is gorgeous
